Favorite Albums and Singles of 2018

I'm always a little hesitant to name my annual music posts with superlative headings.  Are these albums and singles really what I consider to be the 'best of the best'?  Or are my picks purely subjective?  If so, it's not as if these works are entirely meritless.  Let's just call this blog post for what it is: a playlist of albums and singles reflective of my whirlwind of a year.  What have you been listening to this year?
